OUR ADMINISTRATIVE STRUCTURE.

Our administrative structure has to do with how our church is structured for growth. We have nine departmental structures for the expansion and accomplishment of the vision of our church. Our structure is in line with the structure of the first church in Act 2: 14, 44 – 47 which is according to the words of Jesus to his church – Matt. 22: 37- 40; 28 : 19 – 20. Below are the departments with their functions in our administrative structure:

i. Evangelical Department

– This department has the community we are as its target
– Plan, promote and oversee programmes to reach the community
– Handle evangelical training
– Follow up the first timers
– Handle our mission projects
– Report to the Senior pastor

ii. Worship Department

– Their target is the crowd
– Plan and oversee worship services
– Organise special worship programmes
– To provide music and worship resource to the rest of the church
– Handle all musical equipment
– Report to senior pastor

iii. Membership Department

– Their target is the congregation
– Care for the flock
– To run membership class
– Oversee all support units in the church
– Operate counselling centre
– Responsible for all major fellowship events
– Report to senior pastor

iv. Maturity Department

– Their target is the committed
– To lead members into deeper spiritual commitment
– Help members to develop spiritual maturity
– Prepare prayer meeting, Bible study etc
– Make available developmental materials e.g tapes, bibles, book store etc
– Report to the senior pastor

v. Ministry Department

– Their target is the core
– Help member find a place to serve in the church
– Help member to discover their SHAPE for ministry
– Handle the training of the core
– Also assist in training and supervising the lay ministers
– Report to the senior pastor

vi. Administrative Department

– Oversee the administration of all the departments
– Oversee the finance of the church
– Oversee the maintenance of all the equipment in the church
– Oversee the recruitment of staffs
– Oversee the cleaning of church and its environment
– Reports directly to the senior pastor

Vii. Teen Church Department
– Organise the teen church
– Organise the children church
– Train the teen church pastors
– Train and equip the children teachers
– Make available what is needed by teen and children church
– Report to the senior pastor

viii. National Outreach Department

– Oversee the branches within the country
– Post and repost branch pastors
– Organised training for branch pastors
– Go for a survey at the site where new branch is to commence
– See to the welfare of the branch pastors
– Reports to the senior pastor

ix. Global Outreach Department

– Take the church to other countries of the world
– Take care of their welfare
– Organising training for each head pastor of each countries
– Reporting to the senior pastor
– Advising the senior pastor on the activities of the churches outside the country.
